Propulsion at Bradford Museum

There is one run between two propulsions in the gift shop. At the time of my visit (July 2005) the system was in rather poor condition with no elastic in place at either propulsion. The car could be launched from this end and ran one way under gravity.

The other propulsion and carriage

There was no cord at this end and the elastic was broken, so the car had to be pushed back.

Close-up of carriage

A close-up of the car. The plain lettering of LAMSON is characteristic of later systems.
